Summer Writing Workshop

Co-Provided by the BMES-IIT and SWE-IIT Student Organizers, and the supporting BME faculty.

A Professional Development Program for Engineers in the Modern-Day Clinical Hospital Setting

Every Thursday (during lunch hours (1:00pm - 2:20pm in June, and in the evenings in July), the IIT Chapters of BMES and SWE will co-host the summer writing and professional development workshop for all IIT students.  

We will be ordering food! 

Session 1.  June 7, 2018.  1:00 - 2:20 pm.  "Structure of a Scientific Paper: From Intro to Discussions"

Session 2.  June 14, 2018.  1:00 - 2:20 pm.  "What to write - What we can learn from mathematical proof-writing"

Session 3.  June 21, 2018.  1:00 - 2:20 pm.  "What not to write - Unlearn how to ‘Make stuff up'" *

Session 4.  June 28, 2018.  1:00 - 2:20 pm.  "Advanced writing techniques - Constructing bullet-proof-arguments"
